All the love...

At the beginning of May I spent a wonderful Sunday morning photographing Katja, Caio and their gorgeous daughter Carlota in their beautiful London home.

I loved this little family. And I love my job...

Babies babies babies...

I love babies. I really love them.

After realising that my portfolio was maybe a little one-sided (ie. made up entirely of my own daughter) I put a call out to some local parents asking if I could photograph their little ones. The response was overwhelming and I have subsequently spent the last two months meeting some amazing mums and dads, and their gorgeous babes.

From teeny tiny new borns to some larger than life four year olds, it's been a really lovely couple of weeks...

Trisha and Ade

I love a winter wedding. Everyone is starting to feel festive and the lack of weather worry always makes things feel pretty relaxed. I definitely would've gone for one myself had I not been getting married in Wales where it almost definitely would've been -10.

Trisha and Ade's wedding took place in early December at the gorgeous Orchardleigh Estate, a sprawling country venue in the heart of Somerset. It was the most beautiful winters day - clear, crisp and sunny - and despite the chilly temperature, the bride and groom very kindly (or politely?!) went along with my suggestions of some shots outside.

But with a breathtaking view and perfect afternoon light, I think it was worth it...

Tim and Mel

Tim and Mel are way cooler than me. I am 100% not cool enough to have been at their wedding. But I was and it was ace.

The wedding took place at Stour Space, an awesome gallery perched on the side of the Thames in Tower Hamlets. And with everything happening in one place, the whole day was fun, intimate and relaxed. All topped off with a rather epic first dance.

However, the most amazing / envy-inducing part of this wedding was Mel's INCREDIBLE vintage dress. If I had my own wedding again - and if I was cool enough to pull it off which as mentioned, I am not - this would've been top of my list...
