Lydia and Damian

One of the first things I do on a wedding morning is photograph the dress. After a few months getting to know my brides, I'm always excited to see what they've chosen and to see them in it. In Lydia's case it was slightly different - firstly because we've actually known each other for years and secondly because when I first saw her dress, my overriding feeling was JEALOUSY. Oh my word, WHAT. A. DRESS. An exquisite Halfpenny London number with delicate appliqué flowers and beautiful silk skirt. I absolutely LOVED it. And of course, Lydia looked breathtaking...

Lydia and Damian's wedding was a relaxed and emotional day, with a traditional ceremony at Clifton Cathedral followed by a reception at We The Curious. In between the ceremony and reception, we were blessed with a window of beautiful sunshine so we snuck away for some portraits at the iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge

After some hilarious speeches - particularly from Lydia's wonderful mum - Damian (a music scholar) then surprised his new wife with a rendition of Billy Joel's "She's Always a Woman".

Cue ALL OF THE TEARS...

"They're gorgeous, you're a very talented woman!"
