Brides

Mia and Adam

Ah Mia, the most effortlessly elegant bride. Wearing a breathtaking beaded gown by Eliza Jane Howell, she married Adam at a beautiful church ceremony followed by a reception at the gorgeous Horniman Museum.

I had a really great day with these two and their lovely friends and families. And as far as reception venues go, the Horniman really is amazing - so light and bright with beautiful gardens, it was a really awesome day all round.

“Thank you so much, we love the photos so much and can’t wait to get some printed!”

Polly and Lewis

I ended up photographing Polly and Lewis’s wedding after I sat next to Polly’s dad on an aeroplane (he was the unlucky man squeezed in next to me and my 18 month old daughter!) Definitely the strangest way I’ve made a booking!

Polly and Lewis were married back in August at the beautiful High Billinghurst Farm in Surrey. Once again, we had a whole day of sunshine, and it really was a laid back and fun filled affair. Polly wore a stunning Grace Loves Lace gown, which really suited the boho vibe of the day (and looked particularly amazing during our sunset portrait session).

Other highlights include DIY ice cream sundaes, flowers EVERYWHERE and the most amazing brass band who kicked off a spectacular party under the stars.

All in all, a pretty incredible day…

“We’re so in love with our photos, thank you so much.”

Kate and Joe

So before I gush too much about this day, I should explain that Kate is one of my closest friends and it was the biggest privilege to photograph her wedding day.

Kate and Joe married at Little Oak Farm in West Sussex on a gloriously sunny day in July. The outdoor humanist ceremony was followed by a super chilled marquee reception (featuring gorgeous food by the lovely Fego Food). Add in some excellent speeches, a LOT of booze and some strong moves on the dance floor, and you’ve got yourself a pretty unforgettable day.

I just love these two…

“I don’t have the words to explain how much we love them, you’ve captured it all perfectly!”

Will and Susannah

Will and Susannah were married in the beautiful Clissold House on one of the hottest days of the summer. I only had a few hours with them but it was a lot of fun.

Following the ceremony Will, Susannah and I snuck away for some portraits in the park while the guests made their way to the reception at The Londesborough, a wonderfully laid back pub in Stoke Newington.

It was a gorgeous day, however the star of the show for me was Susannah’s INCREDIBLE lace dress by Jonathan Simkhai. It was stunning and Susannah looked effortlessly beautiful (and I was green with envy!)

“They are totally wonderful - we've been through them a few times and they get better and better!”

Will and Steph

Where to start with this epic day?! Will and Steph are just the nicest couple and I had the best time with them.

I started the day with Steph and her bridesmaids, with a lot of music and a lot of champagne (the best way to start a wedding day). The ceremony then took place at a gorgeous country church near the New Forest followed by a laid back reception at Will’s family home.

As an Aussie bride, Steph and her friends REALLY knew how to party! The dance floor was absolutely packed all night, making it very difficult for me to leave (and had I not been three months pregnant at the time, I probably wouldn’t have!)

Also… THAT DRESS! THOSE FLOWERS! See for yourself…

“You sure are one incredibly talented lady!! Our photos are just magical, you captured our day and all the emotions perfectly!”
