Lottie and Anthony

My final wedding of the year took place at the gorgeous Pembroke Lodge on a perfect autumnal day in early November. This was very much a family affair with Lottie and Anthony’s beautiful daughter Lily as one of the stars of the show.

I enjoyed a very relaxed morning with Lottie and her bridesmaids before heading to Richmond Park, where the 3pm ceremony allowed for some beautiful winter light during the reception. And as seems to be a common theme with all my weddings, these guys knew how to party…

Thanks to Dan for helping me with this one!

“They are amazing, thank you!”

Mia and Adam

Ah Mia, the most effortlessly elegant bride. Wearing a breathtaking beaded gown by Eliza Jane Howell, she married Adam at a beautiful church ceremony followed by a reception at the gorgeous Horniman Museum.

I had a really great day with these two and their lovely friends and families. And as far as reception venues go, the Horniman really is amazing - so light and bright with beautiful gardens, it was a really awesome day all round.

“Thank you so much, we love the photos so much and can’t wait to get some printed!”

Polly and Lewis

I ended up photographing Polly and Lewis’s wedding after I sat next to Polly’s dad on an aeroplane (he was the unlucky man squeezed in next to me and my 18 month old daughter!) Definitely the strangest way I’ve made a booking!

Polly and Lewis were married back in August at the beautiful High Billinghurst Farm in Surrey. Once again, we had a whole day of sunshine, and it really was a laid back and fun filled affair. Polly wore a stunning Grace Loves Lace gown, which really suited the boho vibe of the day (and looked particularly amazing during our sunset portrait session).

Other highlights include DIY ice cream sundaes, flowers EVERYWHERE and the most amazing brass band who kicked off a spectacular party under the stars.

All in all, a pretty incredible day…

“We’re so in love with our photos, thank you so much.”

Emma and Joe

In deepest darkest Somerset on a scorching Saturday in July, I photographed the amazing wedding of Emma and Joe. These guys are just brilliant with an awesome collection of family and friends, so I knew it was going to be a corker.

The whole day took place at The Cottage Beyond, a beautiful private house with acres of surrounding fields. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky as Emma and Joe exchanged vows in the garden, and the congregation then strolled to a nearby marquee for drinks and games in the sunshine. After dinner - and an excellent set of speeches - we snuck off for some portraits in a particularly gorgeous golden hour. And then the party really kicked off…

This really was a quintessential English country wedding and I loved every second.

(Huge thanks to Dan for helping me capture this epic day!)

“Thank you so much, you made everyone feel at ease and we love the shots. So many of our guests mentioned how fantastic you were and for that we are truly grateful.”

Lydia and Toby

I had the best day with Lydia and Toby, who were married at a beautiful country church in East Sussex followed by a reception at Lydia’s incredible family home.

The whole day was incredibly fun and relaxed, and the gorgeous sunny day allowed for a beautiful sunset portrait session before the party really kicked off.

I also LOVED photographing Lydia’s amazing Charlie Brear dress - some gorgeous morning sunlight together with such delicate lace and beading, a match made in heaven.

“There is absolutely no way we can thank you for how beautiful they are. You captured our day so perfectly and I'm not sure what else we can say other than thank you!”
