Emma and Joe

In deepest darkest Somerset on a scorching Saturday in July, I photographed the amazing wedding of Emma and Joe. These guys are just brilliant with an awesome collection of family and friends, so I knew it was going to be a corker.

The whole day took place at The Cottage Beyond, a beautiful private house with acres of surrounding fields. There wasn’t a cloud in the sky as Emma and Joe exchanged vows in the garden, and the congregation then strolled to a nearby marquee for drinks and games in the sunshine. After dinner - and an excellent set of speeches - we snuck off for some portraits in a particularly gorgeous golden hour. And then the party really kicked off…

This really was a quintessential English country wedding and I loved every second.

(Huge thanks to Dan for helping me capture this epic day!)

“Thank you so much, you made everyone feel at ease and we love the shots. So many of our guests mentioned how fantastic you were and for that we are truly grateful.”

Charlie, Caroline and Henry

Gorgeous little Henry was just six weeks old when I photographed him and his lovely parents Caroline and Charlie. We had a lovely few hours together and Henry was an absolute star.

PS. Not only is Caroline lovely and beautiful, she’s also a pilot. Major girl crush…

“Thank you for the beautifully presented memory stick of our photos! We’ve really enjoyed looking back over them.”

Astrid, Craig, Lex and Seb

I was over the moon when Astrid contacted me asking if I could photograph her gorgeous new baby boy Seb - I love all baby sessions but what was really special with this one is that I had already photographed Astrid’s first baby Lex.

To be asked to capture this gorgeous growing family was a real privilege. The fact that Astrid and Craig make beautiful babies is an added bonus…

“We are again absolutely delighted. So many wonderful pictures of our boys whom you’ve captured beautifully!”

Will and Susannah

Will and Susannah were married in the beautiful Clissold House on one of the hottest days of the summer. I only had a few hours with them but it was a lot of fun.

Following the ceremony Will, Susannah and I snuck away for some portraits in the park while the guests made their way to the reception at The Londesborough, a wonderfully laid back pub in Stoke Newington.

It was a gorgeous day, however the star of the show for me was Susannah’s INCREDIBLE lace dress by Jonathan Simkhai. It was stunning and Susannah looked effortlessly beautiful (and I was green with envy!)

“They are totally wonderful - we've been through them a few times and they get better and better!”

Will and Steph

Where to start with this epic day?! Will and Steph are just the nicest couple and I had the best time with them.

I started the day with Steph and her bridesmaids, with a lot of music and a lot of champagne (the best way to start a wedding day). The ceremony then took place at a gorgeous country church near the New Forest followed by a laid back reception at Will’s family home.

As an Aussie bride, Steph and her friends REALLY knew how to party! The dance floor was absolutely packed all night, making it very difficult for me to leave (and had I not been three months pregnant at the time, I probably wouldn’t have!)

Also… THAT DRESS! THOSE FLOWERS! See for yourself…

“You sure are one incredibly talented lady!! Our photos are just magical, you captured our day and all the emotions perfectly!”
